I tried filtering freelance jobs more aggressively

Instead of applying to anything that looked “okay”

I only considered jobs that had:

• Clear scope

• Reasonable budget

• Some client signals

"Result: Fewer applications."

But:

• Less overthinking

• Less time wasted

• More confidence in decisions

Too early to measure outcomes.

But the mental difference is noticeable.

Now I’m trying to see if this impacts reply rate.
