I built a weekly USDA crop/weather research desk because I thought there might be tradable edge in the data.
I tested multiple families of ideas against the same core stack:
• crop progress
• weather anomaly
• weekly returns
The result was not what I wanted.
The trading thesis did not survive.
Instead of forcing it, I suspended the trading claim and kept the part that was actually useful:
a governed weekly intelligence desk.
What it does now:
• runs preflight data-quality checks
• generates a weekly brief
• produces severity snapshots
• exports a clean summary
• archives each weekly packet
• keeps operator docs and validation in place
• preserves research integrity instead of pretending weak results are strong
Important:
It is not a trading bot.
It is not a signal engine.
It is not a proven alpha system.
Trading thesis is suspended on the current data stack.
I packaged it as a $19 template because I think the useful part is the workflow itself:
a niche intelligence/reporting desk with QC, archive, export, and governance built in.

I’m mainly interested in whether this feels useful to builders, analysts, or solo operators who care more about governed systems than hype.
