Idea + landing page feedback
I built a landing page and am hoping to get feedback on this idea as a product/service. Does it get your attention? Would you sign up? Is it clear what it is and does?

However, since we're all makers, here's a little backstory on the idea, called I'm Lost (it's only the landing page right now, nothing is built yet).
At its core, I'm Lost is a directory of pets that can be searched by location and physical traits (keywords). If a pet gets lost, even without a collar, someone who finds the pet can search the I'm Lost site, identify the pet, and get in contact with the owner.
Since searching will be poor until there are a lot of pets on there, listing a pet is 100% free. Anyone can sign up, and their pet can be found and reunited for free... hopefully a no-brainer.
I'll make money by selling tags with QR codes or URLs on them that link to the pet's profile page. Linking to a live page will have more and better info than a normal tag could, and it can potentially have a privacy benefit by masking the pet owner's phone number.
I'd love to know if this seems like a viable idea and really appreciate anyone who takes some time to check it out!

I really much like the Idea.
Besides the feedback already given I wonder how you will be marketing your project. Because I have the feeling that this could only work if you have a lot of traction to your website and a lot of people know about it so that when they loose their pet, they will come to register on your website.
Yeah, exactly. That's part of why I only did a landing page to start... I wanted to gauge the idea and interest. I have some decent marketing ideas, but it's hard to really know what will work. Since the service itself is free and beneficial to pet owners, I'd look to create community and "ambassadors" (like shelters, pet companies, etc.) who can help spread the word.

Headline does seem a bit long. I am sure you know your audience better than me. I was thinking something along the lines - ‘Never lose your pet again’. I thought the service is to build a page for the pet, so you never lose your pet again and the page will make it easier to find your pet.
Agree with @chrisblackwell about the loading times and above the fold content taking priority.

I dig the overall concept. One thing to note: I loaded the site on the train, and it took about 5 - 6 seconds to load the top animation in, while the content below was already loaded. Load the above the fold content first!
Ah, good to know. I used Webflow for the site, and to be honest, I'm not sure how (or if) I can control that in Webflow haha.
The headline seems long. Can you condense it into 7 words or less?
Yeah I'm not a big fan of what's there now, but I'm having trouble saying it succinctly.
