Idea Validation - Automatically reconcile Stripe payments

Hi,

Whilst implementing the payment process for my side project https://fab.fitness I realised that I'd have to manually reconcile the monthly payments from Stripe into Xero, not a big deal just now since we've just launched. Then last week when working on the payment processing for my day job (https://amiqus.co) I realised we'd have to do the same thing which would be a bigger deal for us.

So, I thought I'd start planning how to build https://reconcilebot.com - a service that automatically reconciles payments from Stripe into Xero.

Questions:

• If you use Stripe and Xero is this something that you think would be beneficial?
• Would you trust a service like this to automate your workflow? If not, what's the key issues you see?
• If you don't use Stripe + Xero, what payment processing do you use and what accounting software do you use?
