After a decade in recruiting, I kept seeing the same thing: great candidates rejected before a human ever read their resume — killed by ATS filters.
So I built ResumeChiefz. Not as an engineer guessing what works, but as someone who's been on the other side of the hiring desk for 10 years.
What it does:
Builds a tailored, ATS-optimized resume in 90 seconds
Gives you a real ATS match score so you know it'll get through
Includes a cover letter and LinkedIn optimizer
No ads, no fluff — starts free, Pro is $7.99/mo
Why it's different:
Every other resume tool is built by engineers. ResumeChiefz is built by someone who actually reviewed 1000s of resumes and knows exactly what gets people hired.
We just hit 47K+ resumes built and an 89% interview rate among users.

Would love feedback from this community — what do you wish resume tools did better?
47K resumes and 89% interview rate is a wild stat. the domain expertise angle is what makes this work — most AI tools are built by people who've never done the thing the tool is supposed to help with.
i had the same realization building outreach tools for agencies. i spent weeks talking to agency owners before writing a single line of code. turns out they don't care about fancy AI features — they just want more leads for their clients.
question: how are you getting distribution? $7.99/mo is a great price point but the resume space is insanely competitive. curious what channels are working for you.
honestly distribution is the grind right now. SEO is the base, I’ve got blog posts live targeting ATS/resume keywords and slowly building backlinks. Reddit coming soon, Product Hunt this week. Pinterest is lowkey pulling more traffic than I expected.
but the thing that’s been the biggest unlock, I’m still an active recruiter. so over the past 2-3 years I’ve literally been putting this in front of real candidates, people who got hired and people who didn’t, and just asking them straight up what’s missing. that feedback loop is something you can’t fake or shortcut. most tools get built and then maybe do a survey. I’ve got hiring managers and job seekers in my ear constantly.
resume space is brutal for sure but that’s the one thing nobody can copy, the actual experience on both sides of the desk.
