Good Morning Indie Hackers!
Us folks over at Stock Alarm have managed to tweak our SEO so that we rank 1st for: Stock Alarm, Stock Alerts, Stock Alert on google and are putting serious thoughts into how to best optimize our landing page to convert users.
Here is our landing page: https://stockalarm.io/.
My questions to you are:
I appreciate any and all feedback!
The download link in the navbar did not work for me. The link.stockalarm.io/ subdomain doesn't seem to be responding at all.
## Was it immediately clear what our product does? Which parts of the landing page were unclear or ambiguous?
Yes the product is clearr. although the landing page doesn't answer the next obvious question. Does it have an API (or Zapier Integration), so that it can used to power automatic trading?
How is the alarm delivered? Only "phone call" is mentioned once , and I had to read carefully twice to find it. Also, for someone with many alerts isn't that highly irritating?
What about getting alarms as phone notifications (with an audible and distinct chime)?
What about email? Wouldn't that be the obvious first choice (coming from a server monitoring background).
How are multiple alarms triggering repeatedly handled? Is there a denounce logic somewhere or will the system make you go crazy?
I guess what is not clear is the target audience? Typically how many alarms does a user configure? Is this for immediate trading or long-term positions? How quickly does one typically want to react to an alarm?
Who else is using this? How scalable is this? How many rules are you monitoring? How many alarms do you deliver every day?
## What would you change in terms of design & content?
View the page on an actual mobile device. The design breaks.
