Agreed. And automate later when (if) it becomes an issue. Or pay someone to handle the filtering whilst you write the automated stuff.

There are so many poor quality job sites out there, if you can stand out in someway then you should.
Hackernewsletter is a good example of how manual curation can build an audience. I do look at hackernews as well, but I really look forward to hackernewsletter on a Friday!
Thanks for the comments! Pretty neat suggestions! About the curation, I'm abling it right now! Gonna make it manually, and them, if things get to complicated, gonna work on that bot!
No reason you can't have a bot strip out the obvious rubbish first, but I would make the final approval a human action. Good luck with it!

I like that you're targetting Python developers and focusing on them.
I would be careful allowing anyone to post a job without logging in or paying anything. Firstly I would charge, even if it's just $5; and secondly I would require an anti-bot verification check, at minimum. Ideally you would require email registeration before posting a job.
"Hello" is my fake entry. Best protect your self from this kind of thing.
As I said in twitter (and u probably dont follow me hehehe, but not a problem): I've built the MVP and now I'm going to wait for new necessities to show up and them develop. Charge something for the job post maybe interesting, but I need to get Python Community engaged with it, thats why it's still widely open!

Ive been working on a niche jobs board as well ( https://ropeaccess.work ), as others have noted the ability to approve jobs is reaaaaaaally handy, and im adding the £5 per job post feature shortly. Funnily enough, ive had more people contact me about advertising their site on the site in a premium position. My niche is super niche so im sending a lot of outreach / cold call emails which is pretty hard work - im tryig to work out a more effiecient approach. Good luck!
One way to set it apart from other job aggregators is to add features the candidate wants to see. Force the employers to talk about whether the job is remote, how big the team is, salary, what tech is used, what training is available, interview process, etc.
I made a similar thing for machine learning jobs a few weekends ago: http://www.mljobs.io :). Used as an excuse to learn elm, was a good exercise. Have not had a huge conversion from views to email list sign ups, however!

Cool! Actually, PyJobs was made in Django. Im running an older version at http://www.pyjobs.com.br and decided to make a move into the open startups movement! Brazilian one is paid by users donation, this one I'll try to make things a little bit different, get paid by the company that want's premium ads.
