Hey all,
I’m the solo, bootstrapped founder of Bearconnect, a LinkedIn automation + content tool. We launched a few months ago, and today is actually the first time I’m running a Black Friday deal.
I thought I’d share what I’m doing today, what I’m learning in real-time, and also drop the deal in case anyone here uses LinkedIn for growth.
1. Preparation matters way more than I expected.
Even though I only launched the deal today, the amount of small things to update is insane: website banners, pricing page, emails, posts, coupon setup, etc.
2. Past leads respond immediately (way faster than cold traffic).
The first people who reacted were folks who signed up earlier but didn’t convert.
For anyone here who uses LinkedIn to grow their product:
write + schedule posts
send connection requests
manage DMs/outreach
automate the repetitive work so you can focus on real conversations
A lot of founders struggle to stay consistent on LinkedIn and that’s the problem I’m solving.

If anyone here has run Black Friday deals before, I’d love to hear:
• What moved the needle most?
• Where did you promote it?
• Any mistakes I should avoid this week?
