I built a tool that scans Reddit, HN and GitHub for conversations where people are actively asking for something that doesn't exist yet. It generates a business opportunity report in 2 minutes. Launched 3 days ago, 0 paying customers. Working on changing that this week.
That's a smart way to validate it. Watching where people agree or push back on the report will probably teach you more than usage metrics alone. I'm curious whether the biggest challenge ends up being finding demand signals—or helping founders decide which ones are actually worth pursuing.
Honestly both, but the harder one is the second — finding signals is automatable, helping someone commit to building something is not. That's the gap I'm trying to close with the score + validation strategy in each report. If you're currently validating anything, happy to run one for your niche for free — no strings.
That's an interesting offer.
The part I'd be most interested in isn't the report itself—it's how you decide when the available evidence is actually strong enough for a founder to commit.
I have a few thoughts on that which probably don't belong in a thread. If you're open to it, what's the best email to reach you?
Absolutely , I'd love to hear your thoughts on that. The "when is the evidence strong enough" question is honestly one I wrestle with in every report. Drop me a line: businesshunterservices@gmail.com
Thanks! Just sent it over.
Looking forward to hearing what you think.
