Launched, now what? Feedback & Ideas for traction?

Hello Indies!

A while ago, we launched our website (knvrt.co) asking for some feedback about anything and everything. Such as price, if our info was clear, even some comments on our colours acting funny on some screens.

After getting plenty of input, ideas and feedback, we made some changes and we are here again, launched with no real idea on what to do next. How do we start on the path to getting at least 1 - 2 orders every single day.

I am thinking about doing some case studies (do we have any volunteer websites?) to get the ball rolling, and also show off what we offer. We have done one, but think a few may be needed to build that trust/understanding. But I want to do everything I possibly can.

Besides that, does anyone have any ideas on things we could try/look into, good reading material or just some overall feedback on our site/service?

Any and all input is welcome!

(I purposefully left out any info about knvrt.co in hopes the website explains it (if it doesn't, it clearly isn't doing something right!))

I would do cold email like this:

    • find sites with multiple landing pages.
    • Identify one or two things to fix
    • send en email telling them how to fix them (free value)
    • at the end, explain your service and let them know you can do a more deep analysis.

Another strategy that works very well is having a blog/academy, with articles about how to get better landing pages. The logic goes:

    • prospects search google for some problem they have about their landing pages
    • they found your article and is really good (free value)
    • they fix their problem, but they now know can buy your report (because you are an expert for them)

    TL;DR:
Offer free value, position yourself as an expert.

Nothing to do directly with your product but your site took 10s to load on a fast internet connection. Your homepage alone took 4s to respond (use one of the wordpress caching plugins to fix). Your images and static assets also loaded very slowly (use a CDN and plugin to fix).

By improving those things you should already see a significant performance boost, and with that also a higher conversion rate.

I concur. The landing page makes 80 requests and downloads 1.4mb.
It took 10s for the DOM to be ready and was finally finished loading everything at 16s.

I would've expected a landing page that's advertising landing pages to load in less than a second.
Getting it to 1 second or less will take some work, but it is possible. See mine for reference: https://monsiv.com. With cache disabled it loads in less than half a second.

    Hi,

First of all, congrats on the launch.

I have listed down few of the improvements that I think may increase your conversion rate:

    1. Try adding some companies logo on your website with whom you have worked with right below the main cover section.

    2. Try changing CTA of "Purchase Conversion Report" to "Get Started" or "Improve My Conversion Rate" etc.

Doing AB tests on this will give you a better idea.

    1. A testimonial section can be improved by adding the personal image of the owner/reviewer.

    Marketing Ideas:

    1. I'd suggest joining few of the SaaS groups, here is a good one SaaS Growth Hacks (https://www.facebook.com/groups/SaaSgrowthhacking/?ref=br_rs)

Try offering a free service to 10-15 people and get the reviews about your service (video reviews, if possible).

    1. Cold emailing - start reviewing the new startup companies, create a short video about the common mistakes they have on their landing page and quick fixes that you can tell them. (1-3 minutes)

If they want to go for the full audit, you charge them.

Also, you will need to create a personalized video and target the companies with certain criteria MRR/User base etc.

    1. Start writing of case studies about how you have improved the CR for your clients. Publish them on a Medium as well as on your blog.

But, keep in mind, content marketing takes a lot of time, so you will see results in a few months.

    And, best of luck.

Curious who your ideal customer is? The feedback on the example mockup is pretty simple standard stuff. Coming to the site I was expecting an analysis that might include heatmaps, setting up HEAP events, etc to figure out how a page is performing. Perhaps that's something you could offer in a higher tier plan?

Having only one case study makes me a little concerned about how helpful this may or may not be. Why only one? Has there only been one customer? Looking at this type of service, I'm guessing my results are only as good as the person doing the service, so I want to see more success stories to boost my confidence.

Hey there.. We have the same problem right now, maybe we can help each other. I would agree with maciej that something like heatmaps etc would be nice. Id probably include it in the 195$ report.

Maybe this helps, if you feel like it check out our Page, it's in my Profile:)
