Legacy ERP, CRM to REST endpoints/Migration API.
Older apps like legacy ERP are difficult to use(they don't support mobile versions) and make a dent in the pocket while migration. What if there was an API which would allow users to keep their data safe and allow them to migrate to SaaS/Expose REST Endpoints with a click. I want to know if there is a market for it? Anyone who has experienced the same?

I've implemented this kind of approach to lookup dynamic prices. There was a web interface so we used RPA to automate requests, scraped results and provided as an API. Worked well. Agree with pras2018 that it's difficult to see how to get beyond bespoke one-off customers though. If you could identify a particular legacy system, convince some users to commit upfront then code the automation yourself then that could be a way in. Once complete you could then offer results to the wider user base.

My first question would be, would you really be able to do this, there is a reason companies charge a ton for integration work? And which ERP would you target there are like a million ERPs out there. And how would you deal with customizations that the client has done to their system, especially with legacy systems being inhouse system, usually the larger companies have done a lot of customization to match their work flows.
With that being said the idea is a really interesting idea. Every time I have dealt with legacy ERP systems I wished there was an easier way to integrate with them. But then that is the problem with any legacy system, outdated modes of integration and customization.

I am not sure what you mean by "automation platform".
Have you seen RPA platforms like UI path? I mean the same thing but for creating API.
With you be creating the integration with their ERP system i.e. pulling data from their systems? Or will the customer have to do that and send the data to your automation platform?
From my experience getting the data out of their legacy systems is the hard part. Once you do that everything becomes significantly easier. I am not sure which part you are targetting.
The customer has to create automation themselves. Even I'm skeptical too.
That might be a challenge. Usually with legacy systems when it comes to any kind of coding they usually get external consultants to do the work. There is no real benefit for a consultant to use your product since they make tons of money doing integration work.
That plus selling to enterprise is hard as an indiehacker or even as a small business unless you have a lot of contacts in the industry.
