Letting users share their results: the growth hack ChatGPT helped me test on Trendline Gala

After studying dozens of growth strategies with ChatGPT, from paid channels to partnerships and embed networks, one consistent win emerged: make it ridiculously easy for people to share their quiz results the instant they see them.

I had ChatGPT go through pages of case studies, product teardowns, and data from viral quiz platforms, and the pattern was clear: people love showing what they achieved, but they rarely go looking for a “Share” button buried somewhere else.

If you catch them at the emotional peak, right after seeing their score or personalized result, they’ll do the marketing for you.

That insight completely changed how I’m structuring Trendline Gala. Instead of trying to boost reach through ads or endless SEO alone, I’m building share focused triggers directly into the experience:

Auto generated share text with each result (“I scored 6/7 on the Scam Awareness Quiz!”)

Instant copy link buttons that preserve UTM data for tracking

A toggle for users to embed their result badges or quizzes on their own sites or blogs

The goal is to make sharing as effortless as reacting, so it becomes part of the natural flow, not an afterthought. It’s currently live as an A/B test on one quiz, and early signals look promising. People are not only sharing but spending more time on the site, exploring related quizzes afterward.

The next step is scaling this across every category such as finance, trading, and scam protection, and measuring whether user driven distribution can outperform traditional promotion entirely. It’s been one of those simple but overlooked growth ideas that only clicked once I used ChatGPT as a research partner to cross analyze what actually works in interactive content ecosystems.
