Hey everyone!
I'm looking for a Growth-focused co-founder/partner to work with me on building and launching small B2C products.
I've already built and launched a small B2C app, Ooya, where users can upload a photo and get a shareable link for others to rate it.
You can see it here: https://ooya-ratings.lovable.app/
I'm mainly focused on the product/building side, and I'm looking for someone who genuinely enjoys growth and distribution.
The idea is:
Find an idea → build a simple MVP → get users → test monetization → learn → repeat.
I'd like the person to be comfortable with:
Finding the right users
Community-based growth
Content/distribution
Outreach
Testing acquisition channels
Talking to users and collecting feedback
Running growth experiments and looking at metrics
This isn't about promoting just one app. I want to build and test multiple B2C products together over time and see which ones gain real traction.
I'm looking for someone who wants to be a long-term partner, not a freelancer.
Initially, this would be equity/revenue-share based, since we're starting from zero.
I'd prefer to start with a small trial project before making a long-term commitment, so we can see if we work well together.
If you're a growth person who enjoys building from scratch and experimenting with B2C ideas, feel free to comment or DM me.
The trial project is sensible, but the multiple-product model makes the partnership terms more important than usual.
I’d agree upfront on who owns the code, audience and revenue from each experiment, whether equity applies per product or to the whole studio, and who can decide to stop a product. The awkward moment usually arrives when one person wants to keep pushing and the other thinks the signal is dead.
A good trial should test that decision process too. Can you agree on the evidence, make a call, and move on without either person feeling overruled? That may predict the partnership better than the first week’s growth numbers.
The small trial project sounds like the best filter here. I’d make it one concrete loop around Ooya rather than a vague “let’s grow it”: pick one user group, one channel, and a target number of activated users or ratings in 7–10 days. That shows how the person thinks when a channel is quiet, and you both learn whether you work well together before discussing equity. Good luck finding the right match.
