MiDrive Transfer Statistics So Far
In the spirit of being open and transparent. We decided to share our data and how we have faired so far.
It will be a month since we re-launched MiDrive Transfer on the 12th of January and we think our numbers aren't that bad for a 1 month old startup.
Over 1.3TB of files have been downloaded so far from over 500 transfers. These files have been downloaded 4,400 times as at this morning. Over 1000 initiated transfers out of which 576 were completed transfers.
Most of our users have consistently been from India. We are having users from Brazil, Philippines, USA, Canada and UAE following respectively.
We hope to hit 5000 completed transfers by the end of the month. Fingers crossed. What do you think about our progress so far? Not too bad right? Lol

Just curious, how are you attracting new users, cause I think it's very difficult/expensive to rank for "file transfer" on Google

We actually just posted on indiehacker, hacker news and a few other active communities. We are also experimenting with paid ads. Recurring users have consistently grown by 1% daily too!
