You pay with your privacy.
Over the last few months, I noticed a pattern:
Upload a PDF → wait for processing
Remove an image background → upload it to someone else's server
Compress a video → hit a file limit or watermark
Convert a file → create an account first
For many people that's fine.
For me, it wasn't.
So I started building KuberAgent.
The goal was simple:
✅ Everything runs in your browser
✅ No uploads to servers
✅ No login required
✅ No watermarks
✅ Free forever
It slowly grew from a few utilities into 100+ browser-based tools covering PDFs, images, text, videos and AI-powered utilities.
I'm still improving it every week based on user feedback.
One thing I've learned is that trust can be a stronger growth strategy than aggressive marketing.
If people know their files never leave their device, they're much more likely to come back.
👉 I'm curious:
Would you choose a privacy-first tool over a cloud-based alternative, even if it had slightly fewer features? Why or why not?
I'd love to hear how other founders think about this tradeoff.
