My company Crave Cookie is doing well and growing (75,000 cookies delivered!), but we've been operating out of a single location. I feel like I don't have enough capital or knowhow to make the next leap to second location in a larger city near me (Sacramento, San Fran, etc).
How do I get the attention of Angel Investors or seed funds so I can get some help from people who've done it before.
Purely bootstrapping will take too long and there's some competition coming in from out of state soon.
If you are willing, talk to your friends and family for a loan.
Seems like you are killing it, but make sure you have a clear plan to return the money.
IMO, seems like the best option for your case.
Good luck :)
What's the Seller Discretionary Earnings if you can share?
Insomnia opened up on Kearny in SF. You find a 2nd location?
Wow, wow the best problems to have, consider yourself lucky ;).
The better question is about the path you would like to take, the biggest the fastest would be some kind of franchising module, while you keep less of the profits you can get huge fast growth with less capital requirements on your part.
Another is a debt path, it might be the hardest and riskiest but keeps the most profits, not sure it will be fast, seek a financial professional that deals with businesses loans and financing and you'll get an idea about what's possible.
The investor route might be the most emotionally draining but a common path, you need to know your numbers and how to present and find and target food investors
There are other paths like partnerships and big deals that can move differently or crowd funding to smaller pieces with some platform under some limitations...
Do you know how you really want to proceed?..
