My Post on Reddit Hit 11K and the Email List is Growing Steadily

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick update on how things are going with my language exchange platform. Progress has been steady, and I’m starting to see some interesting patterns.

First, the email list is growing consistently, and I’m getting close to hitting half of my initial goal of 100 signups. I’ve also started receiving feedback from people, which is great for refining the idea.

I recently began posting on Discord and engaging with different language communities. I’m also planning to experiment with Reddit ads this month, targeting specific language learning groups to see if it brings in high-quality signups. If you’ve run Reddit ads before, I’d love to hear your experience.

One big win was a post I made on r/Startup_Ideas. It got 11K views, 14 upvotes, and 22 comments, which brought some solid traffic. Speaking of traffic, I’ve been analyzing where visitors are coming from. Google hasn’t been very useful, but I did learn how to track sources, and right now, most traffic is coming from Reddit and Indie Hackers.
