Founder update on HerShape, my own product: 3 signups this week, and none of the 14 people who joined earlier signed in.
I build HerShape, my own product. It generates meal and workout plans around where a woman is in her cycle. Founder update, not a pitch.
The number this week: 3 signups in the last 7 days, and all 3 generated a plan. Total real users is 17 once I strip out test accounts. Paying subscribers: 0.
The number I did not go looking for: of the 14 people who signed up before this week, 0 signed in during the last 7 days. Every sign in on record this week came from one of the 3 new accounts. So my weekly active users and my new signups are the same 3 people.
What shipped: nothing. There is nothing in front of a user that was not there last Saturday.
What I learned: I have been treating 17 users as 17 people I could go and ask something. The sign in dates say it is more like 3 who are here now and 14 who tried it once. 2 of the 17 have ever generated a second plan, which lines up.
My question: when the people who already left were the only real signal you had, did you go back and ask them why, or leave them alone and put the time into the next arrivals? I keep stalling on which.
