Tip: turn off your electronic devices and stay away from them. Only turn them on and use them if you have a specific task in mind that you need to do.

People used to live without all this technology and they always figured out things to do. Sometimes we just need to remind ourselves what that's like. This has helped me greatly in breaking bad habits and forming better ones, including being fine with going out / networking / the unexpected.
