Not sure how do how can I use this skill set?
Hey guys.. I love creating chatbots. Nope. Not something from grounds- up but these:
- Understand the problem.
- Try and understand if a chatbot can solve this problem.. for instance, lower site visit to subscribed to mailing list. Or FB Ads traffic to landing page to lead signup, etc.
- Create and deploy the chatbot with tools like ManyChat, Flowxo, Chatfuel.
I love doing this.. but I feel like I want to convert in to business. But not sure what problem I can solve. Where these chatbots are valuable? Because essentially, I'm not creating custom chatbots but take this no-code chatbot builders and provide to people a ready to be deploy chatbots..
Would love your thoughts on how can I turn this hobby in to a business.
P.S. I'm ok with a services business too.
So really what you're selling are business outcomes, not chatbots. Customers might know they have a customer service problem they want to automate or improve, but may not necessarily know about chatbots in particular.
It's more of a consulting thing than anything else. If I were you, I'd write up a bunch of sample case studies for how chat bots can solve customer service issues, then make sure they get circulated on Medium or LinkedIn. You could probably land some project work that way, and if you do enough of them you might find a way to make your service repeatable (ie, being able to train someone else in your process).
That's helpful. How about going after guys who are running PPC campaigns for lead gen purposes? In my experience, chatbots have better conversion rates vis-a-vis traditional forms.
