Relaunched my newsletter and made my first sale 🥳

Hey all,

just wanted to share a small but for me exciting win!

I re-launched my newsletter last week after it had been inactive for ~1 year. I started the newsletter about 1.5-2 years ago, I grew it to 1k subscribers, but then got busy on a bigger project and didn't have time for the newsletter anymore.

Few days after re-launching it last week, I made my first $ from paid recommendations :) it's not a lot but feels great making my first money after putting a lot of work into growing it.

One learning I take away from this: I shouldn't be too picky with the revenue channels I want to tap into. I used to think "only subscriptions" because I didn't want to do ads, but tbh, I'm not in a position where I can turn down any money people are willing to pay me (obviously I won't place hundreds of irrelevant ads on my newsletter, but you get my point).
