Roast my page after the CRO redesign
Hey, my name is Matthias, I'm an indie hacker and founder of GetTheAudience.com
I redesigned the homepage of https://gettheaudience.com because the old version seemed to confuse the visitors.
Could you please have a look at the new version of the page and give me feedback? Specifically, I want to know...
- is it clear what the service does for the user?
- is it attractive enough for an indie hacker?
- is it clear enough how to start a free trial?
- what else could be improved so that more people sign up for the service?

I am curious, why "Free Trial - Discover. Listen. Engage. - Get my audience now >" appears 3 times on the landing. I know you want to see conversions, but don't you think the CTA is pushing people away instead?

thanks for your question!
In the previous version of the page, I had only one button at the top and one at the bottom of the page. You won't believe it: Since I have 3 occurrences, more people are clicking on the buttons! Obviously, the buttons are not pushing people away.
My theory is: People are easily distracted and confused these days so that a page must offer clear guidance, in order to help them buy the good stuff!

Your stock image of a lady with hearts doesn't really inspire anything. I would replace it with something more applicable, maybe some edited screenshots from twitter (maybe also reddit) and a report that holds the answers?
As I scroll, I also noticed:
The style of the third image with the birds is different from the first two...why not keeping it consistent?
And finally your testimonials at the bottom of your page, the ones embedded from twitter, are not correctly displayed. you probably need to give a min-height to the iframe or whatever it is you're doing!

I ask because in my Firefox, Chrome and Safari browsers, the section looks good. Please tweet the screenshot to @GetTheAudience, then I'll have a look at it.
