Selling custom community development services
I think this would fall on the productivized service scale? I'm still researching.
Currently, I'm evaluating whether developing a base community script and customize it per customer needs. Is this along the lines of a productivized service? More importantly, is it something people would be interested in?
I was also contemplating creating and selling shopify themes with the ability to customize it. This seems more like a productivized service but I'm not sure.
What is a custom development community script? How would it be used?
So, it would be something built from ground up with separated modules. I would showcase the script and allow customers to purchase a basic customization to suit their needs.
So, for example, if you need it for something like an alumni community vs. something like a basketball club, each will have the same base functionality however you can order custom modules/customization according to your requirements. I would then deploy and manage it on my own.
