Should I still walk to the office to work in the 21st Century?

Here's how my regular day for Office used to be.
I snoozed my alarm clock 5 times in an attempt to wake up early. I rushed to get myself cleaned, prepare breakfast, and get the latest updates on how the world is changing.

But even before I could scroll my newsfeed, I got a cold chill feeling that I am already late for Office. I got dressed, gather my things, packed my bag, and rushed to reach the office. The journey to the office was usually fun. I prayed most of the time on my way not to get stuck in the traffic but usually, I did.

I guess everyone had the same schedule. It took me almost 2 to 3 hrs on preliminary things to get the actual job done. The main objective was to work but the priority changed. First, reach the office and then Work. You see, how we used to deviate from our regular actual work and focus more on preparation for the real job.

Now my schedule has completely changed. I snooze the alarm(still don't know how to avoid that) and get myself clean. I have my breakfast, join the Virtual meeting, and start working.

I love this new schedule and I am sure you all do too. COVID-19 has forced the world to adapt to these changes. The world couldn't simply digest the idea of working from home but now everything has changed for the greater good.

Now we can actually focus on our work anytime. We don't need to get worried anymore about running late. Simply power your device open the link and work.

This modality is still changing as remote working is widely adopted. Companies are finding innovative ways to get things done remotely and effectively. Even Giant companies are adopting how things are changing and are investing massively in various remote working tools.

The Question " Should I still walk to the office to work in the 21st century?" seems completely irrelevant in today's context as we have been working from home remotely for the past few months. Now, the real question is, Will we continue this Working modality?

I have planned to run all my ventures virtually and limit the physical meetups as low as possible. What about you?
