This seems super useful for designers who don't know how to code. How's it going so far in terms of adoption? What has your marketing/distribution strategy been?
I think it's probably helpful to share on forums like this one, but at the same time asking people explicitly to share with friends/colleagues never really works in my experience, and comes off as a tiny bit spammy. Ideally your product will be naturally shareable. For that to happen, it really helps if the following things are true:
Ultimately, you want people to be motivated to share your product because it makes them look good to do so. And you can also incentivize this behavior with discounts or prizes or other tactics as well.

So far, about 32,000 users of Visual Inspector globally. We haven't done much except the medium blog in terms of marketing. It was mostly shared by the early users over tweets which contributes to almost 37% of total traffic to the page/website. And yes, IH seems to be quite helpful.
Visual Inspector is a free utility and "inspecting/exporting" will always be free. However, we are coming up with remote collaboration to fix design/content issues and changes much faster.
I believe that's where your suggestion will add most value. Thanks for pointing us in right direction.. :)
