So I know my icon is bad, but like how bad though

I run a small idea newsletter so I whipped together a basic (terrible) logo... I need help because this is terrible.

If I were to try and make it sound better... I went all in on iconography?

If you had to improve this, outside of making sure I never enter a design app again, where would you hire/find design talent to make a better logo?

No AI suggestions please 😤, if I hear about "DALL-E" or "Stable Diffusion" one more time this week I'm going to lose it.

    It's not bad, just not brandable.

    I spent $10 for a logo on Fiverr for TinySnap, if you have some bucks to spend you can try that path as well, designers will have some ideas on how to make it look better.

      Yeah, it's just not great for a brand...

      Hmnnn maybe I'm going to do what you did instead, I definitely have $10 to spend it was more about a "get it shipped" kind of rush.

      Thanks I just looked at their sites! Prices are pretty reasonable... except for not releasing copyright until paying the max amount...
