Solo bootstrapper, AWS, and Simple CI/CD Solutions?
Wondering if anyone has words of wisdom for a simple first attempt at managing dev, testing, and production environments?
I am using various pieces of AWS (EC2, Amplify, Eventbridge, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, SNS) and some docker containers. Have been doing all dev in one account. I just set up a 'production' account since I received AWS credits and need to isolate the real biz for future accounting and registration.
I've noticed the Superstack feature in Cloudformation but haven't digged into it. I'll be using Eventbridge for cross-account communications since I can't switch over some things until the idea seems more viable and I need to deal with lower priority issues.
Lastly, I DIY my fullstack setup so please don't pitch me any third party services.

Our stack is DynamoDB, Lambdas, S3, SNS, API Gateway, etc. So we are able to deploy using https://www.serverless.com config files and scripts we wrote.
Can you link in the Superstack you are talking about? Googling it doesn't return anything.
Anyway if you go Lambdas we can definitely help but not with EC2 and docker containers.
Thanks for the quick reply. I should have mentioned the majority of my code is run with AWS SAM. I was going off memory on the earlier mention, it's actually part of cloudformation called Stacksets!
Oh I see but https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/what-is-cfnstacksets.html won't help you manage dev, stage and production environments since each of those environments is potentially on a different code base and life cycle.
Are you mono-repo or multi? If you are mono its not too bad to deploy everything out of a single repo, most of our scripts are around dealing with multiple repos in a release. Of course monolithic repos have other draw backs but you might not care about any of those yet.
