I built TrukingsI so SaaS founders could list their product, share their link with their own users, and see real ratings on ease of use, support, value and reliability in a dashboard, the kind of thing that actually informs a product decision.
Two days after posting here, someone in the comments pointed out something I hadn't fully separated: the public ranking page lets anyone vote on any listed product, while the share-link path is where a founder's actual customers vote. Right now those two show up as one combined score, and they shouldn't. A vote from a real customer using the share link should carry very different weight than a vote from someone just browsing the rankings.
I don't have this fixed yet. I'm posting it here because it's a fair criticism and worth thinking through in public rather than quietly patching it. If you want to see what I mean, the rankings are live: https://trukingsi.web.app
Curious how others building review or rating products have handled separating "real user" signal from "public opinion" signal. A verified badge, a completely separate score, something else?

Good write-up. What would you do differently if you started again?
Curious how long it took before you saw the first real results?
Really relatable. How much time do you put into this each week?

How did you decide this was worth building in the first place?
Nice work shipping it. What has been the biggest challenge since launch?
This is useful. How are you finding your first users so far?
Interesting take. Would you still recommend this approach to someone starting today?
Good point. Did you test that with users before committing to it?

Makes sense. Are you planning to charge for it, or keep it free for now?

Solid lesson. Which channel has worked best for you so far?

This is great work — what's the biggest thing you'd do differently if you started over?
Have founders shown whether they care more about customer-only feedback or overall public rankings, and what decision would each signal actually help them make?
What is the best email to reach you at?
separate scores, both visible, with the count next to each. weighting hides the problem, and a single number with a badge makes people argue about the badge. two columns, "from verified customers (n=12)" and "from visitors (n=340)", tells a founder more than any blend, and a big gap between them is itself a signal worth showing. we hit a version of this with a food app beta: the first 10 testers were friends and family and their feedback was polite noise, so cohort 2 is strangers and the two groups get reported separately. same idea.
