The deep dive with Instruments was worth it. I learned new things and improved the performance of long lists for scrolling, database updates, collection diffing and more.
Yesterday's progress:
- Investigate performance of long lists with SwiftUI, Combine and GRDB
- Fix bugs
Today's progress:
- Fix some other bugs
- Improve ContactRow list scroll performance
- Fix slow list diffing, when adding many contacts
- Database observers now run twice as fast
