It might sound cheesy, but my primary goal is to help people to be a better friend & family member. So getting some positive feedback really makes the day. Making money is for sustainability. One of my favorite board game apps doesn't run on iOS 13 and as an iOS dev I know why. Every update is a lot of work and takes time.
The content that I curated for my list is now all in JSON frontmatter. I improved some things with the card layout and design. I now need to edit, spellcheck, do some QA etc. Then I need to get it ready for publishing and eventually continue writing the remaining items. There's like 50 more things or so.
It's just 10:49 am, but my indie hacker day is finished so I post this stand up now already. I'm helping a friend with moving apartments, doing sports and some chores so I'm busy for today.

Thank you! You know it's not so hard. As Gandhi said actions express priorities. I have tons of other project ideas or tasks for Amicu. In the end, I put it aside and make sure I spend enough hours with family & friends. We both have 24 hours. No need to be envious. ;)

I don't like the idea that building a company means neglecting social relationships. Doing so is already a stressful thing. We all need some balance. As @dmitryprdude explained in the justreachout IH podcast - it's not a successful business, if you make a profit at the cost of family & friends.
Besides as my app is about keeping in touch with people it would be really stupid and hypocritical of me to sacrifice people for improving the app. ;)
