Tapping into a niche mailing list of 700+

Hey all!
A few months ago I built https://bestofml.com in a lazy weekend and launched it.
The thing took off more than expected, #1 of HN, Top3 on ProductHunt. The result? 700 Machine Learning Engineers and Enthusiasts on my mailing list.
Now I made the mistake of not really interacting with that list for about 6 months. I expect there to be many unsubscribes. But I'm also looking for the best way to be useful.
Asking the community: What are newsletters you usually enjoy? What newsletter format could fit here?
I'm the founder of the Courrier du Hacker newletter, a weekly digest in French of FOSS news with +100 issues and +2400 subscribers. Each week I pick 15 links. To monetize I have a banner for a sponsor. I also include two links to job offers on a job board which is another project of mine.
