I look at a lot of SaaS pricing pages. The same four mistakes show up again and again, and they're all fixable in an afternoon. Illustrative examples below are fictional — written by me for an imaginary note-taking SaaS called PaperTrail.
Plan names that say nothing. "Basic / Pro / Enterprise" tells the buyer who it's for, never. "Solo / Team / Company" is barely better. Name the plan after the buyer: "For freelancers", "For teams up to 20", "For companies with compliance needs". The buyer should recognise themselves before reading a single feature.
Feature lists written for the roadmap, not the buyer. "50+ integrations, bank-grade security, 24/7 support" — every SaaS on earth claims this. Features should answer "what changes for me": not "unlimited notes" but "never lose a note again". Rewrite each bullet as the outcome.
No risk-reversal anywhere near the price. The moment of maximum anxiety on the page — the price — is where most pages go silent. One line under the CTA changes this: "Cancel in two clicks, keep your data for 30 days." Say the thing they're afraid of, then remove it.
The FAQ answers nobody's questions. "What payment methods do you accept?" is not an objection. The real objections: "What happens to my data if I cancel?", "Can I switch plans later?", "Is there really no setup fee?" Answer the three questions your support inbox actually gets.
Before (illustrative, fictional):
PaperTrail Pro — £15/mo. Unlimited notes, 50+ integrations, priority support. [Start free trial]
After (illustrative, fictional):
For teams up to 20 — £15/mo. Every note your team writes, searchable in seconds. Switch plans any time, cancel in two clicks, keep everything for 30 days. [Try it free for 14 days]
Same product. The second one answers the buyer's questions before they ask them.
I do this as a service: a full pricing-page rewrite — plan names, feature lists, CTAs, risk-reversal line, objection-killing FAQ — £49, delivered in 48 hours, and you only pay if you actually ship it. Comment or DM with your pricing page URL.

Good point. Did you test that with users before committing to it?
Interesting. How are you measuring whether it is working?

Really solid approach — curious how you're thinking about this, what's been the hardest part to figure out so far?
This resonates a lot — how long did it take before you saw any real signal on it?
