I decided to not launch until post vacation. But will resist the urge to add more "features" to the MVP and will instead focus on spit and polish. But prior to spit and polish, I've still a good chunk of content to generate.

I'm not planning to work at all! (Laughing!) Or at least only "fun work".
Sweet Buddha, this is turning into a good chunk of work. Content generation is no joke. I'm essentially signing up to write a short blog post every week day for 3 months. We'll see if I have the wherewithal.
However, before I go any further down that road... validation.
Writing content is hard work.
Have written quite a bit over time (blogs & technical content) and it is always intense to get it done. Always enjoyed doing so, but never got paid for it. At least not directly.
I also love to write, it's cathartic for me
I also love to write. It just requires an extra internal push after a full work day.
As part of the validation process, I just gotta accept that I'll be writing daily.

How did you fare last week?
Consulting consulting, but luckily had some time for Vimalin as well.
With Ahrefs course I'm now at lesson 7 (I felt guilty for not making progress :) )
Also updated the shareware sites xml pad for the shareware sites to pull from.
Apple is still busy (I hope) with moving my personal developer account over to a business account. Asked for if there was progress, but no reply from that.

Again consulting, it was badly needed to generate some income.
Work on some paper cuts for [Vimalin[(https://www.vimalin.com) and perhaps push out another update. I guess it depends on if apple gets their move done.
Continue the Ahrefs course with at least 2 more episodes
Oh and I learned from VMware that Vimalin is likely to work with their free offerings once the new version of VMware Workstation and VMware Fusion gets released. So I need to make sure that Vimalin will work with that.

The same consulting gig? Technically fun + no fussy end users with which to deal? Glad you've found some opportunities! Those can be hard to come by today!

Yes the same gig. Hopefully they have enough work for a bit. I'm always surprised when a new one comes up. Usually it is related to the open source projects that I have worked on. You got it right about the "no fussy end users" bit and just technical challenges. Love it.

Had a busy week of working on ads and messaging/landing pages. Was nice to get an inquiry from a parent to take a class for their kid in high school, but I didn't have it avail to order yet.

Classes and safe online community for kids. The stuff school doesn't teach.
Woot! There I was, minding my own business today when I got the first class sign up, and it's not even scheduled yet! And now, tonight, I got the first membership signup!!! IT'S GO TIME
Triumph! Customers alone are fab. Did they bring any dollars with 'em?
They tried! They clicked the Signup button after seeing the price, but I didn't have the class event/tickets set up yet :( I do now though, and will be following up today
How went the follow up?
They are having their child check out the community first. Class topics might not be traditional enough for the market my message is hitting. It seems like the class marketing is attracting terrible far-right extremists to criticize the efforts. Which is super unintended. What the heck does that mean?
However, on a plus side, the Lift Squad (community) is growing by a couple new users every day now and kids are starting to send me their feedback. This, this I love.
Yes, yes... things are starting to move.
Missed two weeks but attempting to get back on track. The kids started remote learning and so productive time has shrunk significantly. Carme Desk is taking a back seat as it's going to be tough getting into the shop to produce product right now. I've started to research possible software products that are more possible to work on for the next few months.
