To solo SaaS entrepreneurs that code, how have you managed to start a SaaS by yourself and remain sustainable?
For some context, I am a recent college grad and I know that working 9-5 day in and day out simply isn't for me so I'm looking for ways to escape it so naturally being in a community such as this I became interested in SaaS. I'm hoping to start off as a side project and then transition to a more full-time commitment. I've been reading books related to SaaS and startup development and I am currently looking into problems that can be solved with code and hope that it's a good market fit. It would really help out a lot if I can get some pointers on starting small and staying sustainable.
There are a few things that have helped me in this regard:
Focusing on building a lean and efficient product: This has helped me save on costs and also ensured that the product is easy to use and maintain.
Automating as much as possible: This has helped me save time and also keep the product running smoothly.
Keeping a close eye on analytics: This has helped me track the product's performance and identify areas for improvement.

I'm currently stuck on the aspect of finding a problem to solve so in the meantime I am looking into different technologies that I might want to make use of so that I can have a foundation. Ideally I want to make a monolith so that I can move fast but I am currently thinking about Nest.js, Deno, and Phoenix but leaning towards Nest.js because of the ecosystem and support.
