Validation for my new project
Hi there fellow hackers,
For the last couple of months, I've been working on a side project that was inspired by my love to podcasts and consuming content; I've called it Audicle (Audio + Article) very similar to Amazon's Audible I agree... :(
Audicle provides an easy way to turn your blog into a podcast using human-read audio.
In more general words I would describe it as a marketplace where I connect voice actors with bloggers who want to get their post narrated.
I have launched a landing page where I preset the product and the features with a live demonstration of voice actor reading the landing page.

The purpose of the landing page is to see if bloggers find it valuable and will be willing to pay for it.

I love your idea. I think the landing page does not have they story what you write down here. It should be a feel like a marketplace . You should take inspiration form upwork , 99designs , freelancer.com and other freelancing marketplaces . Best of luck .

The target audience of the landing page for now, is bloggers(demand), as the voice actors(supply) will be approached offline and personally at first.
My goal here is to understand how strong is the need.

Actually your idea is new to me. I don't know much about the demand, market and other things.
But I just want to say that "Text To Speech" softwares are really improving very fast. Probably you saw Google's new asistant feature. Nearly impossible to understand that it is a bot.
I am sure that you are considering it too.

indeed TTS is getting better and better. We are aware of it.
Pretty cool. I actually had a similar idea a while back, but the product was charging the user who wanted to listen to popular blogs or articles that were recorded.
IMO the name is maybe a bit too similar, but maybe not enough to make a difference. Best of luck!

Great MVP to validate you’re idea. I would add a few of the benefits for your users. What problem or goal are they trying to solve or accomplish by incorporating audio of their blogs? Ideas: “extend your reach and grow your audience with Audicle”
Lastly, put a little bit more time on the Call to Action. It’s not very enticing. Perhaps communicate that this is beta and your looking for a beta community to build the product with feedback.

There seems to be a big resurgence in podcasts / audiobooks so this could be a great time for you to ride the wave.
In terms of improving your homepage, here is what I'd recommend:
sort out the email field in "request a demo" and make it center-aligned with the page. make it bigger and more prominent
remove the video background on the testimonials - it slows down the page, doesn't add any value, and distracts from the text
make the text more visible / legible for the customer testimonials
add some pricing details
add a live chat

How much would it cost? And I didn't understand if the product exists, like "Erin Bartholomy, Travel blogger" is a real person that used it or just a fake? :D
Testimonials are anonymized, we do have few early adaptors, but we are not using their real names.
The product is not fully operational yet; we are still building it.
We want to find out how strong is the need.
And for the cost, that varies by the length of the post. around 10$ for 250 words
