We gave our website a voice. Here's what happened to our engagement metrics.

Hey IH!

I'm building AnveVoice — an AI voice assistant that embeds on any website with one line of JavaScript.

The insight: I'm based in India, and 70%+ of our mobile users prefer speaking over typing. Chatbots assume English typing proficiency. That's broken for most of the world.

What AnveVoice does:

  • Talks to website visitors in Hindi, English, Hinglish, and 10+ languages
  • Actually navigates the website (clicks links, scrolls to sections)
  • Remembers returning visitors across sessions
  • Sets up in 5 minutes, no code needed

It's NOT a phone bot. It lives ON your website.

Where we are:

  • Built and launched (anvevoice.app)
  • Free tier: 50K tokens
  • Paid: starts at ~$35/mo
  • 0 paying customers yet (being honest)
  • Main challenge: getting first 10 users

What's working for distribution:

  • LinkedIn posts (best channel — 12 UTM visits from one post)
  • Show HN (just posted today)
  • SEO blog posts (long-term play)

What's NOT working:

  • Cold email (37% bounce rate)
  • X/Twitter (account flagged after aggressive engagement)

Would love feedback:

  1. Does this solve a real problem for you?
  2. Would you try it on your site?
  3. Any distribution channels I'm missing?
