We’re exploring partnerships instead of relying only on direct sales

We’re building Trackly for businesses managing remote and field teams, with attendance, payroll, and workforce operations in one place.

As we started speaking with potential customers, we noticed that many already rely on trusted HR consultants, payroll providers, IT firms, and agencies for operational decisions.

That made us rethink our growth approach.

Instead of relying only on direct outreach, we’re now exploring a simple referral partnership model.

Partners refer Trackly to businesses in their network. If a referral becomes a paying customer, the partner earns 20% recurring revenue every month for as long as that customer stays with Trackly.

The goal is to keep the model straightforward and create long-term value for both sides.

For founders who have built a referral channel:

Did recurring commissions help you attract better partners, or did another model work better?

I like the shift in thinking. Businesses often trust the people already advising them more than a cold sales pitch. One thing I'd be curious about is how you'll keep partners engaged after their first referral. Have you thought about providing ongoing training, co-marketing, or regular updates to help them generate referrals consistently?

Appreciate that! Keeping partners engaged long-term is something we're thinking about too. We're planning regular updates, simple enablement resources, and ongoing support so it's more of a partnership than just a referral program. Still early, so feedback like this is really helpful.
