What actually makes you remember a founder online?

I’ve been thinking about this because there’s a big difference between being visible and actually being remembered.

A lot of founders post consistently.

Build in public.
Share launches.
Talk about wins.
Write threads.
Comment everywhere.

But most of it disappears from your head five minutes later.

Then there are a few people where you start recognizing the name even before you really know them.

Maybe because they consistently share useful ideas.

Maybe because they show real work.

Maybe because they have a clear point of view.

Or maybe because they keep showing up in the same space long enough that you naturally start paying attention.

I’m curious what actually creates that effect.

When you start remembering a founder, builder, or operator online, what usually caused it?

Was it their work, writing, personality, expertise, consistency, or something else?

I’m less interested in follower growth and more interested in what creates real recognition and credibility over time.
