What are the best Growth Stories/Hacks you have seen/used, indie hackers use to grow?

I recently saw this conversation with Louis Pereira

Louis accidentally got a growth hack working for him for his Product AudioPen.

AudioPen launched on Product Hunt ended up as #1, with more than 1,000 upvotes leading to 1,000 paying users and $73,000 in revenue in its first two months.

I think what worked for him can be out in 3 main points :

• Active community in his case twitter for receiving early feedback on his product.
• Geniuinely giving to the community by hosting Hackthons for the community.
• Having years of experience to understand the user requirements from early users.

This is not exactly a master mind growth hack but I think it is very powerful one. I think we can replicate this hack by simple steps like being active community member, trying out new things to keep updated and building products that we can support in long term.
