What would be the best pricing model?

http://www.synthate.com

Hey everyone πŸ‘‹πŸ»

I have a pertinent question here - myself and my colleague are trying to decide on the best pricing model for our target market (mainly non-technical indie-hacker types, as well as executives/professionals and small businesses who need web applications).

I think our current pricing model is restrictive, and potentially a huge barrier to entry for our product [attached below].

I believe a better pricing model may be a base fee per month ($30/mo) + $5/mo extra for each additional feature (ie: scheduling, payments, realtime updates, etc).

Do you guys have any ideas/suggestions? If you need more info on what our use cases are - you can check out www.synthate.com or drop me a note!

Anything is appreciated! Thanks 😁

    What is the competition charging?

There aren't really any easy-to-find competitors for subscription-based development (we're kind of proprietary here with our model/pricing). Most development agencies charge by billable hours per project - most projects cost at least $1,000-$5,000+ depending complexity (usually static sites are $250-750).

This is true. Your pricing looks very fishy because no one can currently provide the kind of custom development required for a MVP at that price point.
It is important that you raise your prices to match the market rate, or have a clearer description on how you are able to provide the service at a fraction of the cost. Maybe you are customizing templates, spending 2h per project, use ML and AI, or the contracts are paid monthly but require a year long commitment. Either way you achieve those results, it needs to be believable, at a high-level, by a potential customer.

This is the feedback I needed - we'll be changing our pricing per month for flat subscription, while allowing people to also hire us by billable hour.
Wholeheartedly agree - couldn't have put it better in terms of needing to be believable at a high level.

We used to provide professional services and I found a page like this (https://djaodjin.com/services/) invaluable to communicate with customers, as well as help them refer us to others.
I am actually very intrigued by your service and would like to learn more. Please keep me in the loop. Thank you.
