When someone cancels, do you actually ask why — or just shrug?

Be honest.

When a paying user cancels, what do you actually do?

A) Send a short "why?" email the same day
B) Glance at the exit survey and move on
C) Dig into usage data first, then ask
D) Quietly assume price / competitor
E) Mostly shrug — too busy shipping

Second check — last time someone left, what was the real reason?

A) Didn't get value fast enough
B) Price felt high for what they used
C) Missing one must-have feature
D) Switched to a bigger tool
E) Still don't know

• what you'd ask a canceling user tomorrow

Love this angle. Building Xstream4K right now so this hits close to home — what made you look into it in the first place?
