I just rebuilt my landing page and chose what I think are my 3 strongest value propositions for developers. Do you all think I've ordered these properly?
Get the job you want
Get paid to talk to hiring managers
Connect with other developers
It seems that value proposition number one's description talks more about how the experience of getting a job will be more enjoyable and feel more holistic. Maybe get the job you want isn't the main VP you need to sell here. Maybe it's doing so in a more enjoyable way.
Really great point. After getting feedback from some folks, I tried rephrasing as questions. What do you think?
Definitely feel like that will resonate more. I would also encourage a one line pitch at the top area of your landing page so people know functionally what you help them do. Maybe you can move "Fizbuz helps you build a professional brand that showcases not just your skills, but who you are and what you care about." Above your 3 VPs to better frame them. That way people get the overarching context as they go through each value proposition. As is it seems the main pitch is a sub-point of your first VP. But already really resonates much better than before!
Thanks @nicksinai ! 🙌
#2 is the one that piques my interest. Any company that connects employers and candidates could say "get the job you want", there's nothing to really make me believe that though.
#2 is both fairly unique and a clear and concrete promise of value.
Thanks @Jefro118 !
tempted to say 2)
but it sounds too good to be true haha
Oh, #2 is very real. I've talked to a dozen companies who would prefer to pay $100 to talk to "well-matched" developers for 30 minutes than to pay $30k to an agency for a single landed hire.
