Why I built REZYCO around compatibility instead of endless swiping

Online dating often starts with browsing: photos, profiles, likes, and endless swiping.

When I started building REZYCO, I wanted to explore a different approach.

REZYCO is an 18+ dating platform built around a proprietary compatibility model. Users define what they’re looking for and privately explore compatibility. The model then surfaces relevant candidates and calculates a personal Rezy Score for each one.

The Rezy Score is a compatibility score — not a prediction that a relationship will succeed.

The goal is simple: reduce endless browsing and help people focus on candidates who are actually relevant to them.

REZYCO is live now, but this is still the beginning. I’m currently focused on learning how people use the product and solving one of the hardest problems for any dating platform: building enough local density for the experience to work well.
