Why I’m building for the folks with "dirty hands" and small screens

Hey everyone!

I’ve spent a lot of time lately looking at how most "mobile-first" software is actually built. The truth? It’s usually built for people sitting in climate-controlled offices, not for the pros who keep our world running.

I’m working on VoiceInvoice because I watched a buddy of mine—a talented HVAC tech—struggle to peck out a $450 invoice on a cracked phone screen with greasy hands at the end of a 10-hour shift. He ended up skipping a few line items for parts just because the app was such a pain to use in the moment. That’s "revenue leakage" that hits hard-working families directly.

Field pros shouldn't have to choose between getting grease on their screens or spending their Sunday nights doing "the books."

We built VoiceInvoice to be the simplest way to get paid:

  • Hands-free: Just talk to the app while you're packing up your tools.

  • 10-Second Invoicing: It turns your voice into a professional PDF before you even pull out of the driveway.

  • Stop the Leak: Capture every material and labor hour the second the job is done.

I’m genuinely excited to simplify life for our landscapers, plumbers, and service workers. If you’ve ever felt the frustration of trying to run a business from a pocket-sized screen while doing manual labor, I’d love for you to check it out.

No more Sunday night paperwork. Just talk, send, and go home to your family.
