New research shows 90% of C-suite leaders say they now have to keep building skills just to keep up. 82% say AI is already creating jobs that did not exist a few years ago. And studies keep pointing to the same conclusion: future leaders will be defined less by what they already know and more by how quickly they can learn, unlearn, and adapt.

Skills no longer last a lifetime. Many technical skills now have a half-life of only a few years. The World Economic Forum estimates that 39% of core workplace skills will change by 2030.

That means a leader who relies only on past expertise is already falling behind.
