Why We're Starting Yumzy with iOS Only (and Going Native First)

As we begin to expand Yumzy into the mobile space, we’ve made a deliberate choice: we're starting with iOS only, using Swift and native technologies.

Why?

Because focus brings quality.

Rather than stretch our small team thin trying to support both platforms from day one, we’re choosing to go deep—not wide. By building natively, we can tap into the full power of the iOS ecosystem, ensuring smoother performance, richer animations, tighter integrations (like voice recognition and system-level sharing), and overall a more delightful experience for our users.

It also gives us the flexibility to test, iterate, and polish quickly before scaling to Android.

Long-term? Absolutely, Yumzy will come to Android. But right now, our priority is to nail the experience, gather real user feedback, and build a rock-solid foundation.

Sometimes, the best way to move fast is to go slow—on purpose.
