Working demo: stop discovering expired tickets at the gate (mining contractor quals)

I'm the solo founder of qualifyiq — a working demo for mining-service contractors who need shift qualification readiness before workers hit the gate.

What it does today:

  • Shift readiness view for who's clear / missing / expired
  • AI-assisted compliance briefing (helps draft; human stays in control)
  • Suggested covers with availability/site-approval caveats (doesn't change the roster)
  • Document chase + worker upload portal
  • Evidence review/approval + QR gate pass

Demo (open, no login): https://qualifyiq-staging.vercel.app/

I'm looking for:

  1. Pilot conversations with people who live this problem (contractor ops / supervisors / quals admins)
  2. Unpaid collaborators or feedback partners who will try the demo and tell me what's wrong

Built solo with help from Claude and Codex. No paying customers claimed — early and usable, hunting honest feedback.

If this overlaps your world, comment or DM. Happy to walk the demo.

The gate-readiness problem sounds consequential, but with no pilots yet the key signal seems to be whether teams would actually make this part of their pre-shift process. Have any contractors walked through a real upcoming shift with QualifyIQ and changed how they prepare workers?

Fair point. That is the real test. No contractor has walked a live upcoming shift through qualifyiq end to end yet, so I cannot claim it has already changed anyone’s pre shift process.

What I am looking for next is a small pilot: take one real shift roster and the quals they already track (often a spreadsheet), run readiness before gate time, and see whether supervisors actually use it in the prep rhythm, not just a demo click through.

Happy to walk the staging demo if useful: https://qualifyiq-staging.vercel.app/

If you know contractor ops or supervisors open to that kind of trial, I would welcome an intro, or any pushback on what would make adoption before the shift realistic.

The move from demo to a real shift roster is the key test. If you’re open to it, what’s the best email to reach you on?

Thanks, Aryan, happy to connect. Just so we’re aligned, are you interested in exploring a pilot, introducing a contractor team, or offering paid advisory services? My immediate priority is testing qualifyiq with a real contractor’s shift roster.

Primarily the validation side rather than selling advisory or pretending I have a contractor intro I can guarantee. I run Beryxa, and I’m interested in the strategic question behind the pilot and what the real shift test will prove.

The QR gate pass feels like a strong wedge here. I’d pay attention to the “why is this worker blocked?” part too, since supervisors will probably need the missing/expired reason more than another status screen. Are you testing it against one contractor’s current spreadsheet first?

    1. 1

Thanks, agreed. A red status alone leaves the supervisor doing the detective work.

The QR check now shows the specific blocking qualification and expiry date, the site and role checked, and the next step. “Open supervisor actions” takes them to evidence requests, submission reviews and potential cover matches. The same QR rechecks current records, so it can reflect an approval without being replaced.

We haven’t tested against a contractor’s live spreadsheet yet—that’s the next validation step. We’d use it to bring their existing records into qualifyiq, with the goal of replacing the ongoing spreadsheet process. Do you work with contractor teams who might be open to a small pilot?
