Your first 100 users probably won’t come from one big launch

One mistake I keep seeing with early products:

Founders spend weeks preparing for one launch day and expect that day to solve distribution.

But getting your first users usually looks much less exciting:

10 users from a community
15 from personal outreach
20 from a launch platform
8 from a useful post
12 from people sharing it
a few from search

Small channels start stacking.

I wrote down the practical process I’d use today for going from 0 → first 100 users here:

The biggest lesson for me:

Before chasing more traffic, make sure a stranger can answer these in a few seconds:

What does this product do?
Who is it for?
Why should I try it?

More visitors won’t fix unclear positioning.

For founders who already reached their first 100 users:

Which channel unexpectedly brought you the most useful early users?
