Building BuryMyPetOnline, a gentle place to create pet memorials
I’m building BuryMyPetOnline because pets are family, and losing them leaves a very real empty space.
The idea is simple: pet owners can create an online memorial with their pet’s story, photos, dates, and a quiet place where family and friends can visit, comment, react, and remember them.
I’m starting small and improving the product step by step. Right now I’m focused on making the experience feel warm, respectful, easy to use, and helpful for people who want to keep their pet’s memory online.
I’d really appreciate feedback from other builders, especially around positioning, first users, pricing, and how to make this kind of emotional product easier to discover.

The strength here isn’t the memorial feature—it’s the restraint in how it’s being designed. Emotional products fail when they try to over-structure grief. The real question is whether the platform stays invisible enough to let people define their own meaning, rather than forcing a “product experience” onto something deeply personal.
Hi Aryan, thanks for your valuable and honest comment. In 2009 I had created a Facebook application (at that time facebook apps were popular) called "Pet Cemetery" and I realized the there is a real need for pet lovers whose pets passed away. People somehow want to create a memorial and share it with their friends and family members. This is why I came up with the idea to recreate it but this time with the help of artificial intelligence and my personal experience. I do think that it has a lot to be developed . Please feel free to express your ideas towards making it a more real product.

I do have a few thoughts, but they're less about features and more about one strategic decision that I think will shape how people experience the product as it grows.
I don't think I can do the reasoning behind it justice in a thread without oversimplifying it.
