Jokr.bar
A well-timed joke to stop your visitors from bouncing.
🚀 Early Jokr.bar results are in:
👉 Visitors who clicked on Jokr.bar stayed 1.5+ minutes longer on website.
Just a perfectly timed joke - and apparently, people love laughing more than leaving.
When 98% of your traffic usually bounces, even getting them to chuckle before they go feels like a win.
But keeping them for an extra 90 seconds? That’s game-changing.
👋 Hi Hackers!
We just launched Jokr.bar — a tiny tool that shows a funny sticky bar when someone tries to leave your website.
Not another desperate popup.
Not a “Wait! 10% off!” bribe.
Just… a well-timed joke. 😄
Why?
Because 98% of your traffic bounces without doing anything.
And honestly, if you're going to lose them anyway — you might as well make them laugh on the way out.

Haha, love the concept — way better than the usual desperate popups! I run a paving company in Tampa, and while our site’s more about asphalt than humor, this could actually work great for lightening things up a bit before visitors bounce. Might just test it out… because hey, if someone’s not ready for new pavement, at least they’ll leave with a smile 😄

Wow, the site looks gorgeous—love the color gradients and the playful layout! 🎨 I did notice a tiny bit of stutter when scrolling on my (MacBook / Chrome). Any plans to tweak the performance, or is it just me? Either way, the concept is super fun. Nice job! 🙌

Hey, thanks. The stutter comes from the Framer template, not bothering us, but I will keep in mind. Any thoughts about trying Jokr.bar?

Because we were tired of annoying exit popups that don’t work. We thought, what if we just made people laugh instead? Jokr.bar exists to turn that awkward “exit moment” into something fun, human, and maybe even effecti

Absolutely like the concept ! Replacing intrusive exit popups with humor is a fresh and human-centric approach that not only respects users’ attention, but also adds a memora in a digital world. Excited to see how this creative twist on user retention evolves!
Thank you so much, Natalia! We're thrilled you see the value in this approach - excited to keep making it even better!
I was recently testing a similar idea using a chatbot that asked visitors what was stopping them from signing up. I shared a simple mockup on Reddit, and people roasted me.
Reddit can be brutal sometimes! 😅 Your idea actually sounds smart - direct feedback from visitors is gold.
1.5 minutes is a lot
definitely
the idea is great, I'm falling for it myself)
Love this! Such a simple but powerful way to boost engagement. Makes me wonder - what other tiny surprises could keep users hooked?
Such a clever insight, humor as a retention strategy is seriously underrated. Love how a well-placed joke can make that much of a difference in engagement!
I never imagined a joke could be a game-changer!
